The new version 1.21 introduces a new dungeon in the overworld, the Trial Chambers. Since they’re not exactly easy to find, we’ve put together a few tips here 🙂

The judgment chambers are found between layers -20 and -40 of the overworld, with no indication from the surface that they lie below. Mining and cave exploration are therefore the most common ways to find chambers of indictment. It’s also a great way to mine and gather resources for your base!
The quickest and surest way to find a test chamber is to buy an explorer’s map from a cartographer villager. This map will show you the exact location of a test chamber nearby, for the price of a few emeralds. Once you’ve bought the map, go to the indicated location and simply dig down a staircase.
Finally, for those who are not afraid of console commands, there is a special command that not only provides the coordinates of the nearest test chambers, but also an option for teleporting to them. To use it on your world or server, the command is as follows:
/locate structure Minecraft:trial_chambers
It is important to note that only people with sufficient authorisation will be able to use the above command on a server.
