In the Palworld server installation directory, create a .bat file (for example, “start_server.bat”) and add the following line:
start PalServer.Exe EpicApp=PalServer -useperfthreads -players=8 -NoAsyncLoadingThread -UseMultithreadForDS
To start the server, simply double-click on the “start_server.bat” file you created earlier. The server will start up with a maximum of 8 players. To stop the server, simply press “Ctrl + C” in the console window or close the window (or quit).
-port=SERVER_PORT: Specifies the port for the server. Replace SERVER_PORT with your port number. Use -port 7777 to change the port number.
-players=MAX_PLAYERS: Sets the maximum number of players. Replace MAX_PLAYERS with the desired number. Modify with -players 16 for the maximum number of players.
-useperfthreads, -NoAsyncLoadingThread, -UseMultithreadForDS: Performance optimisations for multi-threaded CPU environments.
-publicip=SERVER_IP: The public IP address of your server. Replace SERVER_IP with your IP address.
-publicport=SERVER_PORT: The public port for the server. This is often the same as -port.
EpicApp=PalServer: Indicates that the application is a Palworld server.
-servername=”SRV_NAME”: Name of your server. Replace SRV_NAME with the chosen name.
-serverpassword=”SRV_PASSWORD”: Password to join the server. Replace SRV_PASSWORD with your password.
-adminpassword=”ADMIN_PASSWORD” : Administrator password for elevated privileges. Replace ADMIN_PASSWORD with your password.
